Julien Frémont reigns over 40 hectares of land in Normandy, 15 of which are planted to orchards, many of which are home to centennial trees, and in total he has over twenty apple varieties planted at random through massale selection. Though Julien has kept much of the farm the same since its purchase in the 1700s, he has pushed forward and overseen the conversion to organics and biodynamics.
